Axa Investment Managers (Axa IM), part of the French finance group AXA SA, has announced the appointment of Gregory Venizelos as credit strategist in its research and investment strategy team.
Based in London, Venizelos will report to Eric Chaney, chief economist at Axa Group and head of Axa IM research. He will be responsible for covering sub-sovereign assets as well as investment grade and high yield credit.
Venizelos joins from BNP Paribas, where he was a fixed income senior credit strategist. Prior to this he held roles at RBS, as a structured credit strategist, and Paribas AM, on the global asset allocation and quantitative strategy team.
