London mayor’s economic adviser snapped up by Parker Fitzgerald
The eminent economist Dr Gerard Lyons has been appointed Senior Advisor at financial services consultancy Parker Fitzgerald, following a period at Mayor Boris Johnson’s office.

Before joining the mayor, Lyons spent 12 years at Standard Chartered, where he headed up the Global Research department. He has also held directorships and chief economist roles at DKB International and Swiss Bank Corporation, and is a regular speaker at the World Economic Forum at Davos and the International Monetary Fund’s annual meeting.
As a member of Parker Fitzgerald’s Group Advisory Board, Lyons will play a supporting role in developing strategy and identifying the trends and implications of political, regulatory and economic change worldwide.
