TWE appoints Michelle Brampton as commercial director UK and Ireland

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has recruited Michelle Brampton to the newly created role of commercial director – UK and Ireland. Branson, who will report to TWE’s managing director Tom King, will be responsible for leading the TWE UK and Ireland sales team. Prior to this, she was the chief financial officer – Europe and SEAMEA at TWE.

Branson has been with TWE for the past 16 years and has held senior roles leading strategy, category and insights as part of the UK and Ireland sales team and commercial finance. Commenting on her appointment, King said, “Michelle’s combination of strong leadership skills, strategic mindset and commercial capability will enable her to lead the team to continue to drive growth across our UK and Ireland business.”

Cording RE appoints Paul Waggot as fund financial controller

Cording Real Estate Group has appointed Paul Waggot as its new fund financial controller. Waggot was brought on board in a bid to strengthen the Group’s UK private rented sector. He will be working with the group’s finance, commercial and residential investment management team, and will be responsible for Cording’s newly launched £400m UK residential fund.

Prior to Cording, Waggot was the commercial finance manager at Landsec, where he was responsible for the financial ownership of its £3bn London property portfolio. Before joining Landsec, Waggot had begun his career as an audit assistant manager with Ernst & Young.
