RSM appoints former PwC audit quality leader

London-based global consulting firm RSM has announced the appointment of Marion Hannon as the new global leader for quality and eisk. Hannon will support the firm’s technical team, focusing on quality assurance, risk containment, ethics and independence for the network. She will also be responsible for framing network’s policies and regulations. Hannon holds 30 years of experience working at PWC and has also served as its director.

Accent appoints James Kelly to join board

British housing association Accent has hired James Kelly as a non-executive director on its management board and audit and risk committee. Previously, he has held various directorial roles at Lettings and Property Management at Lloyds Banking Group; Sequence Connells, a division of Skipton Building Society; and Dacre, Son & Hartley. In his new role Kelly will help the company deliver its priorities around customer service.

AXA names new head of global trading

European global asset manager AXA has appointed Yannig Loyer as global head of trading. Loyer will be focus on managing the company’s fixed income, equity and FX trading globally. He will be responsible for the leadership and development in the company while overseeing AXa Investment Manager’s execution capabilities. he will directly report to Daniel Leon, head of engineering and trading.

Seigl leaves EEX management board

The supervisory board of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) announced in its meeting on October 24 that its chief risk officer Dr Thomas Siegl will leave the EEX management board in order to fully focus on his tasks as a member of the management board of European Commodity Clearing (ECC). The decision was taken as a part of the process of setting up the management board of EEX and ECC as well as to strengthen the governance.

Nouss joins Met Office board

The UK Met Office board has appointed Hunada Nouss as a new non-executive director, heading the Audit and Risk Committee. Nouss is currently in charge of the Audit and Risk Committee at City, University of London. She is also board member and chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
